Portrait Lighting
This is an example of portrait lighting taken in the style 'Broad'.
How achieved this was by angling the light to the side of the person being pictured and angled the chair.
Split Portrait Lighting
This is an example of Split how I took this was by making sure the person being photographed faced perfectly straight and angled the light straight at the side of their face to capture the split shadow.
This is an example of butterfly this is where there is no shadows on the face and how you can tell this is in the style butterfly is by looking at the nose. How I achieved this was by facing the chair and person photographed straight and angled the light directly in front of there face also.
Rembrandt Portrait Lighting
This is an example of Rembrandt this is when an almost triangle is shadowed on the person or subjects face. How I took this image was by angling the chair and camera straight and angling the light slightly but not as much as angled in broad.
Loop Portrait Lighting
This is an example of loop how i achieved this was by angling the light but higher and slightly more angled towards me rather than the person or subject.
