product shot purposal

The Brand
The brand I have created to use for  my product is called “Glossier” this is a skincare brand I have decided to use because I personally really enjoy skincare and I also have quite a few products already that I would like to play around with shooting as many of the products I own have got interesting textures and colours that I would like to work with for my product shot.
How I plan to edit my product shot is through adobe photoshop.

Who is the client, or company you are representing and target audience?
The company I am representing is ‘Glossier’,  I aim for my target audience or client to be between the age of 16 to 25. The reason of a younger target audience is because I want my brand to represent youth and encourage younger adults in to taking care of their skin.

The Product
The product I have chosen to pick for my product shot is a moisturiser bottle. The reason I have chose this product is because the texture and colour of the tube, I think will be challenging to shoot but if done right could turn out very well. The tube is white which I like because I want my product to be very simplistic and it has a shiny material that I think will picture well with shadows.
When researching product shots and branding the products that really stood out to me is when brands are simplistic, so this is the style I want to incorporate within my product shot. I really like products being shot on a white background with lots of light as I feel it immediately draws your attention to the product this is what I want for my product.
Where would you expect to see this advertisement
I mentioned above my target audience being of a younger age bracket, with this I would expect my product to be advertised using social media platforms. Today social media plays such huge part in our day to day life and I feel is is the best place to promote and advertise new products or brands so I would be aiming for my advertisement to be seen on platforms like Instagram.
What kind of lighting are you going to use to make your product look professional?
How I plan to make my product look as professional as possible without the access to proper camera or studio is by setting up a homemade light box and studio. The two main factors I want for my product is simplistic and clean looking so how I plan to incorporate this without the usual high-quality equipment is my making a lightroom from a card board box white paper and lights.
The lighting I plan to use is two white light, lightbulbs as I want my product to be shot with really bright lights to get the clearest image as unfortunately I don’t have access to a camera so it won’t be shot with a high quality camera.
What Props I need
The props I will need is a big box , white paper, two led white light lightbulbs, tracing paper, a camera to shoot my product, I will be using an iPhone camera and a scissors.
